Grand risings.  Today, we’re diving into the transformative world of affirmations and the incredible power of words.

 

The Significance of Words

 

You might be curious why I say "grand risings" instead of the usual "good morning." The reason is simple: words hold power, and our subconscious is always listening.  Consider this: the word "morning" can refer to the start of a new day or the period following a death. Do I want to start my day with a sense of loss? Absolutely not! By choosing "grand risings," I set a positive intention right from the get-go. Now you understand why I opt for this uplifting phrase.

 

Words are spells—they literally have the power to shape our reality. That’s why it’s called "spelling."

 

Understanding Affirmations

 

Let’s jump into affirmations. It’s a universally acknowledged principle that like attracts like, which is the foundation of the Law of Attraction. While some might dismiss this concept as just another self-help trend, there’s real wisdom in it. Our thoughts carry frequencies, and they attract similar energies. When you emit love, you attract love; when you radiate gratitude, you draw in more reasons to be grateful.

 

A powerful way to harness this energy is through the consistent practice of affirmations. Personally, I incorporate mine into my morning routine, often in front of a mirror during my energy practice.

 

The Ho’oponopono Technique

 

One of my favourite techniques is the Ho’oponopono mantra, which translates to "moving things back into balance" in Hawaiian. The practice involves repeating the phrases: "I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you." I usually say this five times while looking myself in the eye. It might sound a bit unconventional, but this direct communication with your unconscious is incredibly powerful. It’s a gentle reminder that it’s okay to make mistakes—we all have.

 

Finding Your Own Affirmations

 

Ultimately, it’s important to use affirmations that resonate with you personally. Experiment with different phrases and find what feels right. I wouldn’t recommend growling at the mirror and shouting, "I HAVE THE EYE OF THE TIGER!" Instead, focus on high-vibration affirmations that come from a place of unconditional love.

Self-love often gets a bad rap. When I hear someone mention it, I might jokingly think of it as self-indulgent. But in reality, it’s vital. The universe loves you, and so do I—so why not take the hint and love yourself back? Affirmations are a crucial part of that journey.
